Sensory Therapy Swing - Rectangular
This lovely and sturdy 125 x 65 cm sensory therapy swing is the ideal swing for grown-ups or for multiple kids at once in childcare settings, therapy (which it is specially designed for), etc. Of course, it can also be used at home.The sturdy rubber edges on all sides of the swing make it especially suitable for people with motor impairments and for children, thanks to the thick protective foam cover. This also means that you can comfortably let your legs hang over the edge, because the frame won’t dig into the back of your legs.
The swing fabric is machine washable.
The rope for the swing is of high, durable quality and comes with safety screws.
The swing's dynamic load capacity is 500 kg, which means individuals weighing up to 150 kg can use it.
The ropes can be adjusted to a height of 2-3 metres. If needed, longer ropes are available.
There are 2 ways to hang the swing:
2-point suspension = when the swing moves back and forth, it has a calming effect which is stimulating and slightly challenging for the vestibular sense
4-point suspension = therapeutic effect that provides a deeply calming sensation
