Gross motor skills

Everything little adventurers, gymnasts, and aspiring circus performers need for active outdoor fun.

From swinging and hanging to practising circus tricks, this versatile set lets children choose their favourite challenge. Switch between the trapeze, gym rings, and swing seat to match your child's abilities and encourage new challenges as they grow.

Please note: The swing is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. However, to help extend its lifespan, we recommend bringing it indoors when not in use. Although the wood is varnished, prolonged exposure to rain, wind, and frost may eventually cause it to deteriorate.

The set includes:
Swing seat: Hardwood
Dimensions: 45 x 10.5 x 1.5 cm

Trapeze bar: Hardwood
Dimensions: 48 cm long x 3.2 cm in diameter

Gym rings: Made of galvanised steel with comfortable plastic grips. The suspension rings are also made of galvanised steel.
Dimensions: 15.8 cm x 12 cm in diameter

The rope adjusters include an opening mechanism, allowing you to easily switch between the different components.

If your anchor point is higher, extension ropes or hanging straps are available separately.

A swing is excellent for improving your child's vestibular sense, which in turn improves their concentration and balance and helps to develop their understanding of which way their body is facing.

Furthermore, a well-developed vestibular sense helps us spin around or stand on one leg without getting dizzy or losing balance, or ride in a car without getting car sick.
If you have a few minutes to spare, you can read more about the vestibular sense here.
