Do you know Time Timer?

Being able to perceive and understand time reduces stress and provides a sense of safety. The Time Timer makes time visual, and it's not necessary to read a clock in order to keep track of how time is counting down.

For example, if your child has 15 minutes to eat their breakfast, you just set your Time Timer to 15 minutes. The clock then counts down silently, and the coloured disc gradually gets smaller and smaller.

We have several Time Timer models to choose from. For example, Time Timers come as wristwatches, with different minute counts, and in various sizes. The Time Timer is also great for adults and children with special needs. The larger models are suitable for bigger settings or for visually impaired users. They have high colour resolution and ultra quiet timers with no audible ticking.

This is how the 60-minute Time Timer works:
The clock counts down, but the numbers also go down and clockwise rather than up.

It's pretty logical. For instance, if you need to adjust the Time Timer to 25 minutes, so your child knows there are 25 minutes left of the evening before teeth need to be brushed and lunchboxes need to be packed, this is how you do it on the standard Time Timer:

Set the red disc so it covers 25 minutes. Now the dial is white from "12 o’clock" to where it says "35 minutes" on the face of a regular clock – because from "35" to "12 o’clock" is 25 minutes.

The smart thing about the Time Timer is that the dial is reversed. On the Time Timer, it doesn't say "35" when you set the timer to 25 minutes. It logically shows "25". And the clock counts down from "25" instead of counting up from "35".

So, this means you need to set your Time Timer to "25" when you want to count down from 25 minutes. When 5 minutes have gone by, the red disc will be at "20" minutes, so it's clear that there are only 20 minutes left until it's time to get ready for bed.
