What makes this product special
Suitable for ages 2 yrs. to 6 yrs.
A balance bike is a brilliant way to stimulate your child's balance and cross-body coordination from the time they're young. The thing about balance bikes is that they don't have pedals, so your child pushes the bike forward with their feet while straddling the bike.
A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without them experiencing too many crashes or accidents - because at all times, your child has a foot on the ground and is able to keep their balance and stop the bike. Being able to zoom around and control their own speed (much more easily than on an ordinary bike) gives your child a feeling of freedom. At the same time, you can also teach your child about left/right, understanding traffic signals, and looking out for other road users.
A fantastic way to prepare for learning to ride a bike with pedals. Once your child is confident on the balance bike, putting training wheels on their pedal bike often becomes a redundant middle step - because your child has already had lots of balance training.
There are many manufacturers to choose from on the market. But when you go for a PUKY scooter or balance bike, the company's long experience in the industry ensures that your child gets a functional and sturdy , and very durable, vehicle.

PUKY balance bikes are designed with comfort and safety in focus.
The handles have soft-grip guards that prevent little hands from slipping. They also double as side shock absorbers if your child falls over while riding.
The handbrake lets your child slow down by braking on the rear wheel, without doing an accidental front flip over the handlebars if they squeeze the brake a bit too hard.
- Specially designed balance bike saddle.
- Safety handle guards that work as shock-absorbers if your child falls to the side while riding.
- The low bike is easy to mount and has a non-slip stepside.
- Safe non-slip handles.
The activity is great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Helps develop your child's gross motor skills, which are boosted as soon as your child moves their body.
- This is a way for your child to develop their vestibular sense, which helps us to spin in circles, stand on one leg, or ride in a car without getting dizzy, losing our balance, or getting car sick.
- Strengthens your child's proprioception, which strengthens your child's concentration skills and builds up their confidence to use their body in other types of physical play.
