What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 10 yrs.
When your child plays with a ball using their feet, hands, head, or a racket/bat, their depth perception is enhanced. Ball games may also have rules, and it's good for your child to practise following and negotiating them. So, when your child firmly insists that there's absolutely NO penalty, or that the ball was NOT out of bounds, that's a learning moment. Playing ball games also gives your child's proprioception a good workout - and that's a sense which cannot get overstimulated.
This activity strengthens essential skills which help support your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Strengthens hand-eye coordination, a skill we rely on e.g. when we throw, catch, or kick a ball that comes flying at us in the playground, when we cut a straight line line with scissors, or when we need to pour water into a glass without missing.
- Helps your child get better at concentrating.
