Stacking the sweet little animals from your garden is a wonderful way to play and learn together. As you balance, chat, and imagine, your child strengthens hand-eye coordination and builds vocabulary by talking about the animals and their everyday lives.   Includes: a fabric drawstring bag, a stacking tree, 10 wooden animals, a wheelbarrow, a bush, and a potted plant. Made from surplus rubberwood from latex production in Indonesian forests. The toys are produced at a family-owned factory in Indonesia, where the Tender Leaf Toys team spends two months each year developing toys and working alongside local villagers. For every tree felled, a new one is planted. Tender Leaf Toys has been recognised by the ICTI Ethical Toy Program for their efforts to make the entire production process more socially and environmentally sustainable. The toys are hand-painted and manually packed in recycled cardboard, and Tender Leaf Toys has almost managed to completely eliminate the use of single-use plastic.

• Stimulates hand-eye coordination, which is used for example when we use a pair of scissors to cut a precise line, when we need to pour a glass of water without spilling, or when we throw, catch, or kick a ball that comes flying towards us in PE class.

Suitable for children aged 18 mos. to 4 yrs.

Already as toddlers, children start playing withstacking blocks or other objects on top of each other. This activity helps them learn about proportions, gravity, physics, and balance. At first, it's great fun getting the blocks to fall. But as your child gets older, their motor skills become better, and they start to build block towers or experiment with stacking figures, toy animals, or other things. If you choose stacking blocks with numbers, your child can get better at numbers and sequences while playing.
