What makes this product special
Solid wooden stacking fun that will keep your child building, toppling and starting all over again.
Suitable for ages 6 mos. to 18 mos.When children try stacking blocks or similar objects on top of each other, which they start doing at a very early age, they also learn about balance, proportions, gravity, and physics. At first, it’s mostly about toppling the stack of blocks. But later on, your child's motor skills improve, and they start to build block towers or try stacking figures or other things. If you choose stacking blocks with numbers, your child can practise numbers and sequences while playing.
The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Develops your child's fine motor skills.
- Develops hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when cutting accurately with scissors, pouring water into a glass without spilling and making a mess, or when throwing, catching, or kicking the ball that comes flying towards us in PE class.
