Crystal Growing Kit - Small

With this kit, your child can experiment with growing their very own crystals at home.

This set was specially selected for the Cambridge Science Festival thanks to its outstanding learning potential.

Following the included instructions, mix the crystal growing powder into boiling water and then watch the magic unfold.

This set lets you grow 3 different crystals.

The dyes in the kit are very strong and can stain clothes and surfaces, so make sure to wear gloves and an apron when you start your crystal growing adventure.

Suitable for ages 8 and up with adult supervision, or 14 and up for independent crystal-growing fun.

The activity supports skill development and is wonderful for your child's well-being:

• Stimulates hand-eye coordination, which is used for example when we use scissors to cut a straight line, when we need to pour a glass of water without missing, or when we throw, kick, or catch the ball that comes flying at us in PE class.

• Develops your child's sense of cause/effect, which has to do with the sense that one thing (the cause) leads to something else (the effect).
