Board games, card games, and dice games are activities with clear and defined boundaries, which many children love. And such games can be a nice contrast to wild, free play with friends at school or kindergarten - games have rules, and for many children that can be a relief.

Learning how to handle defeat in a safe environment together with you makes your child resilient.
