Doing puzzles is a fun way to get better at understanding how single pieces form a whole and envisioning where each part needs to be placed in the big picture.

If the puzzle has a special picture, such as animals, the universe, or telling time, you can talk about it and strengthen your child's vocabulary while you're placing the pieces.
