This is a toy your child can just play with without first having to figure out how it works. Here, there is no right or wrong way to play, and there are no rules your child needs to follow. Playing in the present moment is the goal here. We call this type of play intuitive play. It's also called "open ended play". We recommend that you seize the opportunity to notice what happens when your child plays in ways that let them use their intuition.

Unlike types of play which focus on achieving a particular result, intuitive play will most often give you a fascinating peek into your child’s own thought process, problem-solving skills, and imagination.
