Construction play is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We won't burden you with a long and tedious dissertation on how this type of play stimulates your child's fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity as well as understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.

With this type of play, your child also gets real-life experience with problem-solving as they figure out how to build the construction so it doesn't fall over. Your child's construction play with all sorts of magnets, building blocks, or pieces makes it fun for them to concentrate. Also, it's just so satisfying to construct a tall, tall tower or build the world's longest marble run, or to create an amazing row of dominoes and film it when it topples.

Do you know CONNETIX?

In 2019, a mom and a dad were standing on a playground in Australia and came up with the idea for Connetix. Their children loved playing with magnets, and the parents came up with the idea to create even more see-through magnetic construction tiles. At the same time, they designed a ball run that could be put together with the magnetic parts - and thus the original Connetix was born. Connetix are magnetic construction tiles that are more transparent and have a cleaner design than, for example, Magna-Tiles. Connetix are even prettier to look through when your child builds in 2D against a window or on a light panel. They have two magnets per side and match with Magna-Tiles and Cleverclixx - but not with Magformers.

Connetix are made from ABS plastic, which is tough and durable and is also used for food packaging. It is good to know that in order to construct a large ball run, you should ideally have a set of square Magna-Tiles or Connetix as well as a set with ball run parts.
