All over the world and across different cultures, people tell stories – and even with the same themes. Telling and understanding a story with a beginning and an end is an important skill to have. Hand puppets can bring a fairy tale or story to life. The storyteller does not get hidden behind a book but gets to be active and in close contact with the listening children, who become participants instead of passive listeners.
