What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 1 yr. to 2.5 yrs.
When children play by stacking blocks or similar objects on top of each other, which they start doing as soon as they are able to sit up on their own, they also learn about balance, proportions, gravity, and physics. At first, it's great fun pushing over the blocks. But as your child gets older, their motor skills become stronger, and they stack the blocks taller and taller or begin stacking toy animals or other things. If you choose stacking blocks with numbers, your child can get better at numbers and sequences while playing.

These lovely stacking blocks are a Djeco classic, and you’ve probably seen them before.
These stacking blocks are extra lovely because your child learns so much from figuring out how to stack them in the right order and make sense of the different sizes. Each block has pictures on all sides, with designs that support your child’s development in different ways.
Stack the blocks so the rope ladder lines up from top to bottom of the tower, or count the objects on one of the other sides. Talk about the different animals and see if you can name the numbers together.
Measures 15x15 cm. The tower is 86 cm tall.
Here, essential skills are engaged, which are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- This activity develops your child's depth perception.
- Develops hand-eye coordination, which is used for example when we cut a straight line with scissors, when we need to pour a glass of water without spilling, or when we catch or kick a ball that comes flying towards us in PE class.
- Supports your child's proprioception, which is also known as the body awareness sense or the kinesthetic sense.
