Toys for learning through play
Play is essential for children’s learning, well-being, and development. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.
Play helps children:
• stay curious
• focus and become absorbed in what they're doing
• take on age-appropriate challenges
• build confidence
We believe children learn best by doing things for themselves:
• by making mistakes
• by getting messy
• by falling down and getting back up again
Resilience, confidence, and courage grow through experience, one small step at a time.
That's why we carefully choose toys that encourage independence, imagination, movement, and social skills — offering just the right balance of support, freedom, and opportunities to grow.
Carefully selected toys
We carefully handpick every toy from the vast world of toys available today. The only toys that make it into our range are ones we'd be happy to give our own children.
Every toy at ToyAcademy should:
• support learning through play
• be made from durable, high-quality materials
• be safe and enjoyable for children to play with

What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 4 yrs. to 6 yrs.
Doing puzzles together develops your child's patience and fine motor skills. Also, putting the pieces together is a fun way to get better at understanding how separate parts form a whole and figuring out where each part needs to be placed in the big picture.
Being able to register something visually (using our eyes) and envision what's missing from a whole is an important skill in learning geometry and math as well as understanding how sums, sentences, or even a piece of knitting, among other things, consist of patterns and sequences.
Puzzles often have a special theme or topic, which you can talk about while you place the pieces. This is a great way to strengthen your child's vocabulary about e.g. animals, flags of the world, or our universe.
Supports the development of important skills that really benefit your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:
- Encourages your child to observe and immerse themselves in the activity.
- Strengthen your child's understanding of language through play.
