Building and constructing is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We can very easily write a whole sales pitch about how construction play benefits your child's hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and creativity as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.
With this type of play, your child also gets real hands-on experience with solving problems when they need to figure out how to put together the construction so it doesn't fall over.
