What makes this product special
Do you know that binoculars are labelled with two numbers? For example, 3x30 indicates that the binoculars have 3 times magnification and 30 mm lenses. In practice, 3x magnification means that a bird which is 3 metres away from you looks as it it's only 1 metre away when you look through the binoculars. The larger the lens (the higher the mm), the more light can enter the binoculars and the less daylight you need to use them.
The higher the magnification of your binoculars, the more important it is to keep the binoculars steady and point them in exactly the right direction. Therefore, it's easier for small children to get a sharp image through binoculars that have a low magnification. If you want binoculars with a high magnification, you should go for a pair with a minimum of 15-30x magnification. But such large binoculars are heavy and need a tripod to keep the image steady and sharp. Generally, we recommend that you align your expectations with your budget.
