Drawing for fun simply helps your child gain better control of the pencil, which is a big advantage at school. And it's absolutely lovely to receive a little handwritten letter from your child that says "lov u" - and just as surprising and amusing to notice the first piece of paper stuck to the door of your child’s room that says "no parints aloud".
