Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 11 yrs.
Fidget toys have become really popular in recent years. Previously, children would chew on their sleeve, doodle, or click a pen when they felt restless or couldn’t concentrate. Now, both children and adults fiddle with fidget toys.
Always take your child's urge to hold or chew on something seriously and figure out the best way to help them. Because giving your child a chew necklace, a squishy, or a tangle to fidget with if they struggle to sit still is not a quick fix. Sometimes, fidget toys are more distracting than helpful.
You can also get your child fidget toys to fiddle with just for fun.
This toy doesn't have any rules or right or wrong ways to play, and your child can simply play with it without having to think about how to use it. Playing in the present moment is the goal here. We call this type of play intuitive play - its also referred to as "open-ended play". We suggest that you seize the chance to observe how things unfold when your child plays in ways that let them use their intuition.
As opposed to types of play which are aimed at achieving a particular result, intuitive play will most often give you a fascinating look into your child’s independent thought process, imagination, and problem-solving skills.
