Animal figures are a bit of a classic of the toy collection. You'll probably see your child use them for all kinds of fun and imaginative role play. Maybe the animals live on a farm or at the zoo – or maybe they go to the supermarket. The play with imagining what the animals experience strengthens your child’s ability to make up imaginative stories and put words to them.

The animals are also great when your child is practising math and needs to figure out how many animals you'll each have if you share them between you. Maybe the animals also want to be counted, sorted, stacked, or arranged according to their initials or the number of syllables or letters in their names.
