Snap-n-Learn - Counting Sheep
Adorable two-piece sheep, easy to take apart and put back together. Each sheep has removable wool, and the number of dots shown on the sheep's body matches the number of dots on the fleece.
Teaches your child to count, match, and recognise numbers. Use the sheep to create mini math problems like: what is 1 + 2? The answer is the yellow sheep, of course. You can line up the sheep by number, which just so happens to form the prettiest rainbow row.Â
Of course, you can also use them for free open-ended play with other toy figures.
Comes in a handy storage jar. 9 two-piece sheep.

Toys for learning through play
Play is essential for children’s learning, well-being, and development. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.
Play helps children:
• stay curious
• focus and become absorbed in what they're doing
• take on age-appropriate challenges
• build confidence
We believe children learn best by doing things for themselves:
• by making mistakes
• by getting messy
• by falling down and getting back up again
Resilience, confidence, and courage grow through experience, one small step at a time.
That's why we carefully choose toys that encourage independence, imagination, movement, and social skills — offering just the right balance of support, freedom, and opportunities to grow.
Carefully selected toys
We carefully handpick every toy from the vast world of toys available today. The only toys that make it into our range are ones we'd be happy to give our own children.
Every toy at ToyAcademy should:
• support learning through play
• be made from durable, high-quality materials
• be safe and enjoyable for children to play with

Let your child play without first having to think about how the toy works. There is no wrong or right way to play here, and there is no rulebook. The goal is simply playing and being in the present moment. We call this type of play intuitive play. It's also called "open ended play". We recommend that you seize the opportunity to observe what happens when your child plays in ways that let them use their intuition.
As opposed to types of play which are aimed at achieving a result or playing within specific boundaries, intuitive play will most often let you have a fascinating peek into your child’s independent thought process, problem-solving skills, and imagination.
Practising how to sort objects helps improve your child’s ability to sort through the many impressions they experience every day. Before we can understand what something is and what it means, we first need to understand how it differs from something else. And sorting toys specifically help with that.
Many everyday situations demand that we know how to organise and sort – for example, we use that skill when we go to the recycling depot, learn equations, or sort our laundry.
Develops important skills that really benefit your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Helps your child sharpen their fine motor skills.
- Develops hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for instance when we throw, catch, or kick a ball that comes flying towards us in PE class, when we cut accurately line with scissors, or when we need to pour water into a glass without spilling.
