With motor skills furniture, your child isn’t supposed to sit still and stay calm. Being able to rock and roll (literally) can in fact help children with motor restlessness stay calm. Your child's proprioception and vestibular sense require input to function and thrive. And when your child's need for sensory stimulation is met, it's easier for your child to stay calm.

Motor skills furniture bought at ToyAcademy is extra durable and will withstand years of fun, active play.

This activity benefits important skills which help support your child's well-being and ability to learn:

  • This type of play stimulates your child's gross motor skills. It particularly involves your child's ability to coordinate their legs and arms.
  • Inspires your child to express themselves and get to know their body.
  • Benefits your child's vestibular sense, which improves concentration, balance, and learning ability.
