What makes this product special
Suitable for ages 5 yrs. to 10 yrs.
When your child plays with a ball using their feet, hands, head, or a bat/racket, their depth perception is enhanced. Besides, ball games may have rules, and it's good for your child to practise following and negotiating them. So, when your child firmly insists that there's absolutely NO penalty kick, or that the ball was not out of bounds, don't worry - that's a learning moment. Also, your child's proprioception gets a good workout in ball games, and that's a sense which just can't be overstimulated.
The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:
- Stimulates hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for instance when kicking or catching a ball that comes flying at us in the playground, or when cutting precisely with scissors.
- This type of play helps your child practise their concentration skills.
