Do you enjoy getting out and exploring nature? Or would you love to make outdoor adventures a little more exciting for your child? This compact travel telescope lets you observe the natural world from a distance—whether you're in the garden, looking out the window or heading off on a family outing. It's perfect for observing robins, rabbits, and other garden wildlife without disturbing them.

A monocular takes up less space than a traditional pair of binoculars, and your child only needs to look through it with one eye, which some children find easier.

The smartphone adaptor makes nature observation even more fun, allowing you to take photos and record videos of what you spot through the monocular. Younger children may need a grown-up's help to capture photos and videos.

With 12x magnification.

Suitable for ages 8 yrs. to 11 yrs.

Have you wondered what the numbers on a pair of binoculars mean? For example, 3x30 means that the binoculars have 3 times magnification and 30 mm lenses. In practice, 3x magnification means that a bird which is 3 metres away from you looks as it it's only 1 metre away when you look through the binoculars. The larger the lens (the higher the mm), the darker your surroundings can be while using the binoculars, as the lens is what “draws light into” to the binoculars.

The higher the magnification of your binoculars, the more important it is to keep the binoculars very steady and point them precisely in the right direction. Therefore, it's easier for small children to get a sharp image through binoculars that have a low magnification. Generally, when it comes to binoculars it's a good idea to align your expectations with your budget. If you want binoculars with a high magnification, you'll need at least 15-30x magnification. But such large binoculars are heavy and need a tripod to keep a sharp and steady image.
