The Balancing Tree is a fun and charming starter game, suitable for children aged 3 and up.
The idea is simple: stack the tree and the birds and try to balance everything so it doesn’t fall over. The player who succeeds wins the game.
You can change up the game by building other balancing shapes instead of the tree (see photos). And once the game is finished, the blocks also work beautifully as a decorative element in the children’s room.
Besides offering great fun for the whole family, this game is also a wonderful way for younger children to practise and develop their fine motor skills.

Many children love games and activities with clear rules and limits. It can be nice to immerse yourself in a game where not everything is up for negotiation - games have rules, and for many children that can be a relief.
In addition, playing a game gives your child an opportunity to practise other important skills, such as losing. We suggest not letting your child win the game every single time. Learning how to cope with losing in a safe environment with you makes your child resilient. After all, you will not be able to protect your child from disappointment and defeat later in life when they go out on their own.
