The egg shaker is made of wood without varnish or paint. We recommend this egg shaker for preschoolers or school age children.Â
The egg is 6 cm long and suitable for children aged 3 and up.
This age limit exists because the egg shakers are not approved as toys, but as musical instruments. They do not contain any harmful chemicals or substances - but toys for children under 3 must be safe for mouthing and suitable for use in ways that musical instruments simply are not. For example, these eggs cannot be thrown around or chewed on for extended periods of time without risk of damage. We have them in our selection here at Toy Academy because playing with musical instruments is absolutely wonderful for young children's sensorimotor development.
