Here, important skills are engaged, which are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

  • Stimulates hand-eye coordination, which you make use of for instance when throwing, catching, or kicking a ball that comes flying at you in the playground, or when cutting an accurate line with scissors.
  • Motivates your child to practise their social skills in a safe home environment.

Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to Seniors

Many children love games and activities with clear rules and limits. In contrast to wild, free play with friends at school or kindergarten, it can be nice to immerse yourself in an activity where not everything is up for negotiation - a game has rules, and that can be a relief.

Moreover, playing games gives your child an opportunity to learn to cope with losing a game. We recommend that you don't always let your child win when you play a game. Teach your children to cope with the disappointment of losing in a safe environment together with you. This makes your child resilient, which will benefit them later in life when they are on their own and you are no longer there to shield them from disappointment and defeat.
