Sensory chew toys are an umbrella term for chew necklaces, chew jewellery, chew toys, and vibrating chew toys for children who feel such a strong need to chew on things that special tools are needed to provide oral sensory input. Some children suck, chew, and nibble on things to calm their nervous system by stimulating the many nerve endings (so-called receptors) of the mouth and teeth. Chewing is not dangerous, but if you want to give pillows, pencils, and shirt sleeves a break, then a sensory chew toy is a good idea. Our chew tools are all safe and hygienic.

If you want to get your child the vibrating oral motor tool Z-vibe, or if your child's behaviour suddenly changes, e.g. if they lose their appetite, we recommend that you get guidance from an occupational therapist.
