Suitable for ages 0 mos. to 2.5 yrs.Sensory chew toys are a general term for chew jewellery, chew toys, chew necklaces, and vibrating chew toys for children who feel such a strong need to chew on something that special tools are needed to provide oral sensory input. Some children nibble, chew, and suck on things to calm their nervous system by stimulating the many nerve endings of the teeth and mouth. There is no risk associated with a strong need to chew on things, but if you would like to give shirt sleeves, pillows, and pencils a break, then a sensory chew toy is a good idea. Our chew tools are all hygienic and safe to use.
If you want to let your child use the vibrating oral motor tool Z-vibe, or if your child's behaviour suddenly changes, e.g. if they lose their appetite, we suggest that you get guidance from an occupational therapist.
The activity supports skill development and is great for your child's well-being:
