If you want to give your inquisitive kiddo a microscope, remember that price and quality generally go hand in hand. So reflect on what you and your child want to look at with the microscope.
It’s interesting to look at a fly or a dead spider way up close, and you can do that with a simple microscope model. But if you are planning to examine the contents of a drop of blood under the microscope, our suggestion is that you choose a microscope for children which has over 400x magnification. It costs more than a simpler model, but your child will learn and understand so much more.
