Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 11 yrs.Building and constructing is very educational, very fun, and a bit time consuming. We could very easily write a long sales pitch about how building and construction play benefits your child's hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine motor skills as well as understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.
With this type of play, your child also gets real hands-on experience with solving problems when they need to figure out how to build the construction so it doesn't suddenly collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of building blocks, pieces, or magnets develops their imagination and patience. Also, it's so satisfying to build the longest marble run ever or construct a skyscraper higher than yourself, or to maybe create a super cool row of dominoes and film it as it topples.
