What makes this product special

Here, essential skills are developed, which are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:

  • Here, your child's fine motor skills really come into play.
  • Wonderful for improving your child's visual perception.
  • Benefits hand-eye coordination, which is used for example when we use scissors to cut a straight line, when we need to pour a glass of water without spilling and making a mess, or when we kick or catch a ball that comes flying at us in the playground.

Suitable for children aged 3 yrs. to 6 yrs.

Building and construction play is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We won't get into a long dissertation on how this type of play stimulates your child's fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity as well as their interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.

With construction play, your child also gets real hands-on experience with problem-solving when it comes to figuring out how to assemble the construction so it doesn't fall over. Your child's construction play with all sorts of magnets, building blocks, or pieces develops their patience. Also, it's just such a confidence boost to construct a tall, tall tower or build the longest marble run ever, or to maybe create a really cool domino track and film it when it topples.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, and the term covers diverse types of play and activities which mix play and learning through an interdisciplinary approach. The conventional boundaries between natural science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are erased, and your child learns through playing and experimenting.

Do you know BRIO?

The first BRIO toy was a wooden horse called the OSBY horse, which Swedish entrepreneur Ivar Bengtsson put onto the market back in 1907. Ever since, BRIO has taken the world by storm. And almost all adults in Scandinavia and other EU countries know the stacking clown, the pull-along Dachshund, and the classic BRIO train.
