Before you know it, the living room can start to look like a used car lot, full of your little rider’s well-loved vehicles.
If you’d like to keep the fleet a little more manageable, My First is a smart investment.
The design is clean and stylish, and the vehicle can be used as a ride-on, a push walker, or a scooter board for tummy time or seated play, with your child pushing themselves along using hands and feet.
Switching between the three modes is easy. When your child sits astride My First, it works as a scooter. When they stand in front and push with the handle, it becomes a baby walker that supports your little one's first steps forward.
Want to use My First as a scooter board? It easily splits into two parts, with wheels on the bottom section.
The My First 3-in-1 ride-on is made from EPP, which is polypropylene (PP) plastic filled with air. EPP stands for expanded polypropylene.
The material can be recycled and used to make other plastic products.
Here, important skills are engaged, which are wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- This helps your child get their body moving, which in turn boosts their gross motor skills.
- This is a way for your child to enhance their vestibular sense, which helps us to spin in circles, stand on one leg, or ride in a car without getting dizzy, losing our balance, or getting car sick.
- This is a way for your child to stimulate their proprioception, which strengthens your child's concentration skills and builds up their confidence to use their body in other types of physical play.
Measures 29 * 50 * 28 cm.
Suitable for children aged 6 mos. to 5 yrs.
Push walkers are classic, practical, and useful motor skill training aids that come in new colours, shapes, and designs each year.
A push walker helps your child take their first unsteady steps while having something to balance against. Modern, newer types often come with brakes so your child won't suddenly pick up too much speed. See our full selection of beautiful push walkers here.
At Toy Academy, we've always worked to help children use both their body and their brain as much as possible. Allowing your child to roll, crawl, tumble, jump, rock, and play all over the furniture gives them a chance to get lots of extra physical activity during the day. And that’s only a good thing, because your child's proprioception just can't be overstimulated.
Motor skills furniture from Toy Academy is extra durable and will withstand years of active play.
