For instance, if a telescope has 27x magnification, an object which is located 27 metres away from you will appear in the telescope as if it's only 1 metre away.
An adult must be present to correctly assemble the telescope and teach your child to adjust the focus.
In general, we recommend aligning your expectations for these scientific instruments with your budget. Children’s telescopes are great for introducing your child to STEM and astronomy for a reasonable price. The big astronomical eureka moments will probably come with a more advanced instrument, which will be in a higher price range, with higher magnification and extra features.
