This projector gives your child a unique chance to observe and explore the night sky in four different ways — all from the comfort of home. When it’s too chilly to stand outside, or a visit to the planetarium (or setting up your own telescope) feels a little ambitious, this projector is a wonderful alternative.
Simply pop a slide into the projector, switch off the lights, and press “on” — and suddenly you’re looking at the Moon, constellations, a space shuttle, a black hole, the planets of our solar system, or a starry sky with more than 20,000 stars.
- Projects images up to 2.5 metres away.
- The projector swivels, so you can aim the picture at any wall you choose.
- Beautiful, clear, and highly detailed images that slowly glide across the wall. Press once for light only, press twice to set the images rotating.
- Six different images to choose from: the planets of the solar system, constellations in the Northern Hemisphere, the Moon, a space shuttle, a black hole, or a starry sky with more than 20,000 stars.
- The image of the starry sky was captured in Hawaii.
- Turns off automatically after 30 minutes.
- Includes a 74x21 cm poster of the solar system.
- Instructions and packaging in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian.
- Requires 3 AA batteries (not included).
Turn the room into an impressive space-themed light show with this fascinating projector. With six different projection discs, your child can explore the night sky and discover more about space in a visual and engaging way.
See the planets of our solar system, constellations, the Moon, a space shuttle in orbit, a black hole, and more than 20,000 stars. The projector can display images up to about 2.5 metres wide on the wall or ceiling, and the high image quality ensures clear and sharp projections. The images can rotate to make the experience even more lifelike. The projection angle can be adjusted, and the projector automatically switches off after 30 minutes.
The set also includes a secret code that unlocks online space facts in several languages. It’s a fun way for your child to explore the universe — how vast it is, what it’s made of, and how it all began with the Big Bang. You’ll also find guides to constellations, with details about ten key star patterns from both the northern and southern hemispheres — including Ursa Major, Orion, and Draco. There are also stunning images from deep space, plus links where curious kids can explore even more about the solar system and the Moon.
This activity benefits important skills which are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- A lovely gift idea for curious children.
- Encourages your child to observe and immerse themselves in the activity.
Suitable for ages 8 yrs. to Seniors
Science is no longer something difficult and dull which adults preoccupy themselves with in distant offices or laboratories. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)- based play activities and experiments are are proof of this. The conventional boundaries between natural science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are removed, and through play and experiments, your child gets to be at the centre of the learning process.
Do you know what STEM means, and why most kids learn better when school subjects mix and mingle?
