This strengthens your child’s vocabulary and knowledge. Toy food is ideal for role playing, which inspires your child to act out real-life situations such as shopping, cooking, or visiting a café.
Role play where children act out everyday activities expands their understanding of the world they live in. With play food, your child also gets to play with food in a way that is probably not okay at dinner with real food. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise greeting customers, writing signs, and calculating special offers. Your child can take payment at the cash register and give back change, which improves their math skills.
