Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 7 yrs.Play food is fantastic for role playing, which inspires your child to copy real-life scenarios such as cooking, shopping, or going to a café. Have conversations about what happens to food inside the body, where our food comes from, and when we usually eat it. This develops your child’s knowledge and vocabulary.
Role play where children act out everyday activities builds up their understanding of the world they live in. With play food, your child also gets the chance to be silly and play with food in a way that is most likely not allowed at dinner with real food. You can expand your child's play opportunities by playing grocery store, maybe with little homemade signs and price tags. That way, you can practise both numbers and words, and your child can gain confidence in calculating prices, giving back change, or greeting customers politely.
