Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 6 yrs.
Different kinds of play furniture and play sets that have themes from the real world are a safe environment for your child to learn about grocery shopping, serving food, or going to the doctor's office. There are certain ways children are expected to behave in certain environments, and children can only really understand those expectations if they've had a chance to practise and experiment a bit first, for example through play that involves using polite phrases, placing an order, or explaining symptoms. It’s also ideal if your child is a little bit nervous around new people.
The activity helps your child develop new skills and is wonderful for your child's well-being:
