This is a toy your child can just play with without first having to figure out how it works. There is no right or wrong way to play here, and there are no rules your child needs to follow. Playing in the present moment is the goal here. We call this type of play intuitive play. It's also called "open ended play". Let your child play by following their intuition and take the opportunity to notice what happens.
As opposed to types of play which are about achieving a particular result, intuitive play will often give you an interesting peek into your child’s independent problem-solving skills, imagination, and thought process.
