The activity helps your child develop skills and is wonderful for your child's well-being:

• Develops hand-eye coordination, which is used for example when we use a pair of scissors to cut a precise line, when we need to pour water into a glass without spilling, or when we throw, kick, or catch a ball that comes flying at us in PE class.
• Fires up your child's creativity.

Building and constructing is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We can easily write a long sales pitch about how construction play supports your child's hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine motor skills as well as understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.

While playing, your child also gets practical experience with solving problems when it comes to figuring out how to assemble the construction so it doesn't fall over. Your child's construction play with all sorts of blocks, pieces, and sticks stimulates their imagination. Also, it's so cool and satisfying to construct a tall, tall tower or build the longest marble run ever, or to maybe create an amazing row of dominoes and film it when it topples.
