Time is quite abstract, so we think the Time Timer is simply one of the most ingenious things we have seen in a long time. The red (or blue) disc clearly indicates how much time remains. Time goes by without distracting audible ticks, and the disc is easy to follow.
We have several Time Timer models to choose from. Time Timers are made as wristwatches, with different minute counts, and in various sizes. The Time Timer is also great for adults and children with special needs. The larger models are suitable for bigger settings or for visually impaired users. They have high colour resolution and ultra quiet timers with no audible ticking.
The main idea behind the 60 mins Time Timer
The clock counts down, but it goes clockwise and the numbers also go downwards instead of up.
It's really logical. For instance, if you need to adjust the Time Timer to 25 minutes, so your child knows there are 25 minutes left of the evening before teeth need to be brushed and lunchboxes need to be packed, this is how it's done on the Time Timer:
Adjust the red disc so it covers 25 minutes. Now the dial is white from "12 o’clock" to where it normally would say "35 minutes" on a dial – because there are 25 minutes from "35" to "12 o’clock".
The smart thing about the Time Timer is that the numbers are reversed. On the Time Timer, it doesn't say "35" when you set the timer to 25 minutes. It logically shows "25". And the clock counts down from "25" rather than counting up from "35".
This means you need to set your classic 60-minute Time Timer to "25" when you want to count down from 25 minutes. When 5 minutes have gone by, the red disc shows 20 minutes, so it's obvious that there are only 20 minutes left of the evening.

With a Time Timer, time becomes easy to see and understand—even if your child can’t tell the time yet.
Time shapes so much of our daily routine. But for many children (and some adults), it can feel confusing when everyone else seems to understand “quarter past four” or “11:45” and it just doesn’t quite click yet.
Whether it’s 20 minutes of comics before bed, 5 minutes of jumping jacks, or making math class feel more manageable, Time Timer helps keep things on track.
Comes in several different models.
