Do you know Time Timer?

Having a good perception and understanding of time makes us feel safe and reduces stress. With the Time Timer, time is visualised, and it's actually not necessary to tell time in order to understand how much time is left.

For instance, if your child has fifteen minutes to eat breakfast, then simply set the Time Timer to 15 minutes. The timer then counts down silently, while the blue/red disc gradually shrinks.

There are several Time Timer models to choose from. For example, Time Timers come as wristwatches, with different minute counts, and in various sizes. The Time Timer is also great for people with special needs. The larger models are suitable for bigger settings or for visually impaired users. They have high colour resolution and ultra quiet timers with no audible ticking.

This is how the 60-minute Time Timer works:
The clock counts down, but it goes clockwise and the numbers also go down rather than up.

It's pretty logical. For example, when you need to adjust the Time Timer to 25 minutes, so your child knows there are 25 minutes left of the evening before they need to brush their teeth and hear a bedtime story, this is how you do it on the standard Time Timer:

Set the red disc so it covers 25 minutes. Now the dial is white from "12 o’clock" to where it would say "35 minutes" on a clock dial – because there are 25 minutes from "35" to "12 o’clock".

The clever thing about the Time Timer is that the dial is reversed. On the Time Timer, the dial logically shows "25" (not 35) when you set the timer to 25 minutes. And the red disc counts down from "25" rather than counting up from "35".

This means you need to adjust your classic 60-minute Time Timer to "25" when you want to time 25 minutes. When 5 minutes have gone by, the red disc will show "20" minutes, so it's clear to see that there are only 20 minutes left before bedtime.
