It’s all about balance! Instead of turning the handlebars (which actually don’t turn), your child steers by shifting their body weight from side to side.

Suitable for ages 1 yr. to 5 yrs.A balance bike has no pedals, so your child pushes the bike forward with their legs while straddling the bike. Balance bikes are fantastic for building up your child's balance and crossbody coordination from an early age.
A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without them experiencing too many crashes or accidents - because at all times, your child has a foot on the ground and is able to slow down or regain balance. Being able to control their speed much more easily than on a normal bike gives your child a feeling of freedom. At the same time, you can also practise traffic signals, left/right, and being considerate of other road users.
A fantastic way to prepare for learning to ride a bike with pedals. Once your child is a little pro on the balance bike, putting training wheels on their pedal bike often becomes a redundant middle step - because balance is not a problem for your child.
