Suitable for ages 4 yrs. to 6 yrs.Constructing and building is educational, fun, and also time consuming. We could certainly write a whole sales pitch about how building and construction play develops your child's hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and creativity as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.

Do you know Polydron?
The ToyAcademy team have a long-standing play date with Polydron from England. The first toys Polydron produced werepieces of sturdy plastic that can be connected in many different ways. The classic pieces are still available, and they delight children with developmental and imaginative play in many families, schools, and kindergartens.
Nowadays, there are many different types of Polydron. Maybe you've heard of the magnetic building blocks Polydron MAG, which are also available with mirrors and in models suitable for young children under 3. You can also choose huge XL Polydron sets, which are ideal for building large structures - even an actual playhouse. Polydron pieces can be used outside, and they last for like a century. A common feature of all the variants is that they're really sturdy toys that you can donate or sell after you're done with them.
