What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 3 yrs. to 7 yrs.
This toy has no rulebook or right or wrong ways to play, and your child can simply play with it without having to think about how to use it. Playing in the present moment is the goal here. We call this type of play intuitive play - its also called "open ended play". We suggest that you seize the chance to observe how things unfold when your child plays following their intuition.
As opposed to types of play which are about achieving a particular result, intuitive play will often let you have a fascinating look into your child’s independent thought process, imagination, and problem-solving skills.
The activity supports skill development and is wonderful for your child's well-being:
- Strengthens your child's visual perception.
- Strengthens hand-eye coordination, a skill we rely on e.g. when we kick or catch the ball that comes flying towards us in PE class, when we cut a straight line line with scissors, or when we want to pour water into a glass without spilling.
- Strengthens your child's ability to wait and have patience when parts of the play take some time.
