Suitable for children aged 11 yrs. to SeniorsDoing puzzles is a fun way to get better at understanding how separate parts form a whole and envisioning where each piece needs to be placed in the big picture.
Being able to register something visually (using our eyes) and envision what's missing from a whole is an important skill in learning geometry and math as well as comprehending how sums, sentences, or knitwork, among other things, are constructed of patterns and sequences.
If the puzzle has a special theme, such as animals, anatomy, or geography, you can expand your child's vocabulary by talking about it while doing the puzzle.
