Suitable for children aged 8 yrs. to Seniors

Doing puzzles together develops your child's fine motor skills and patience. Also, placing the pieces is a good way to get better at understanding how the single pieces form a whole and envisioning where each piece belongs in the big picture.

The ability to register something visually (using our eyes) and envision what's missing from a whole is an important skill for learning geometry and math as well as comprehending how sums, sentences, or even a piece of knitting, among other things, are made up of patterns and sequences.

Often, puzzles have a special topic or theme, which you can talk about while you're doing it. This is a great way to strengthen your child's vocabulary about e.g. animals, flags of the world, or our universe.

The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

  • Gives your child's fine motor skills a wonderful workout.
  • Invites your child to relax and immerse themselves.
  • This type of play develops your child's problem-solving skills.
