KinderMag Starter Set. "Mag" stands for magnetic, and these construction shapes are extra fun and easy for little hands to connect in all sorts of ways.
Unlike many other magnetic construction toys, Polydron pieces only connect when they’re turned the right way, with their plus and minus poles aligned. As your child builds and experiments, they gain a basic understanding of magnetism by turning and rotating the pieces so they attract each other instead of pushing apart.
The set comes in lovely pastel colours and contains 96 open-frame pieces (48 squares and 48 triangles) that are easy for little hands to grasp and connect. There are plenty of pieces, so several children can play together, either as a team working on one big project or playing side by side while learning to share.
Create both 2D and 3D constructions. Construction play teaches your child how to connect the pieces to create a solid structure that will stand on its own without toppling over. 3D construction play is especially great for developing your child's spatial skills, which will help them in the future when drawing in 3D, folding a paper star, or eventually assembling a moving box on their own, when that day comes.Â

Building and constructing is very educational, very fun, and a bit time consuming. We can certainly write a whole essay about how this type of play develops your child's fine motor skills, creativity, and hand-eye coordination as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.
With this type of play, your child also gets practical experience with problem-solving when it comes to figuring out how to build the construction so it doesn't suddenly fall over. Your child's construction play with all sorts of blocks, pieces, and sticks makes it fun for them to concentrate.
