When your child plays with a ball using their feet, hands, head, or a bat/racket, their depth perception is strengthened. Besides, ball games may have rules, and it's good for your child to practise following them. So, when your child persistently maintains that there's absolutely NO penalty, or that the ball was NOT out of bounds, don't worry - that's a learning moment. Ball games also gives your child's proprioception real workout - and that's a sense which cannot be overstimulated.
