Aqua Dragons in Aquarium

Aqua Dragons, or sea monkeys, give children and animal lovers of all ages the chance to experience these amazing and fascinating small creatures as they hatch. Sea monkeys can grow up to 2 cm long and have three eyes and a long tail.

The eggs are dried and in a state of hibernation when you receive them. The eggs come alive when you put them in clean fresh water, and then they stay alive for about 3 months. After 2-3 days, the eggs hatch. At first, the Aqua Dragons will be so tiny you can't see them, but within 5-7 days you'll be able to spot them. Among other necessities, the kit includes food for approximately 5 months.

From then on, you have to make sure to check on them every day, also on weekends and during holidays. Daily care only takes a couple of minutes, but it is important for the health of the little Aqua Dragons. At the end of the day, Aqua Dragons/sea monkeys are living creatures. They may be invertebrates and low on the food chain, but as living beings they still need to be cared for with respect. That's why an adult should always be there to supervise when children get Aqua Dragons - just like they should be if children get a goldfish or a puppy.

When the adult Aqua Dragons die, you can often succeed in hatching any eggs that might be left over. Follow the guide that came with the kit.
